The Soccer Skillology Technical Training Program

45 Video-Books loaded with detailed explanation and expert demonstration for optimal learning.

“This is a highly beneficial teaching aid for coaches and players alike. The demonstrations are simple and straight forward and show the player/coach/parent how correct technique underpins everything. As a professional soccer player in England I continuously analysed my performance closely. The answer of improved performance very often, even at that level, would consist of getting back to basics and improving technique by making subtle changes and thereby building a stronger platform for the next game. I really think this program can help players to develop and become much stronger players in all areas of their game. Small changes can make all the difference. Mike knows soccer inside and out and has a real knack of identifying problems a player will encounter during their development. He has a soccer brain. He has a vast experience at all levels as a professional soccer player himself and can offer so much more than the average coach. He is able to develop players of all abilities, improving kindergarten players right through to professional players who always ask him for his advice and expertise.”

Providing young players enough time to train with their team is difficult, and instruction can be hit or miss. With the Soccer Skillology Technical Training Program players are given the opportunity to self-train with expert step by step instruction, video demonstration and skill development targeting. The 45 professionally designed lessons with more than 90 minutes of video instruction are based on learning to self-train soccer skills at home, with minimal equipment and expense, and with only one or two players.
The Technical Training Program is not intended to replace team training but to supplement individual skill development, which is often difficult to address in a team setting. Think of this as “tutoring” for the “soccer homework” that coaches are always asking players to do on their own. Individual skill training is critical to a player’s success.  Professional soccer players all have a story to share of how they honed their skills as motivated young individuals. These lessons are not only fun and easy to follow, which is motivating in itself,  they are designed to produce excellent results when dedicated players follow the steps and train like a young pro.
Athletic Development experts believe that it takes at least 500 repetitions with perfect technique to learn a movement pattern (skill). It takes 10 times as many repetitions to correct deficiencies in a movement pattern.
